Responsibilities of the position include:

• Managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel
• Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically
• Well-developed writing and research skills
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
• Applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure
• Calculating, calendaring and tracking court deadlines, and coordinating the scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings and trials

Position Requirements:

• Associate's degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies
• 3+ years of experience in a combination of the position practice areas
• Proficiency in applying court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts
• Experience in requesting, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records
• Well-developed writing and research skills
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence
• Experience in identifying, tracking, and managing case-related deadlines in an electronic and paper calendaring system
• The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload
• Experience in managing electronic and paper filing systems
• Experience preparing for arbitration, mediation and trial
